Email address for communication

Membership in Mysteries of the East will get you nothing. All it does is allow you to enter/upload a review or to make a comment in the blog or in a book discussion.

There are no secret newsletters, mailing lists, or discounts on the many things we don't sell.

The reason we use a membership system is to keep some control over user-input. While you are a wonderful person who is responsible and can be trusted with crayons in your hand, many of your neighbors are not responsible, and there's no way we'll hand them a crayon.

All we need from you is a valid email address and a review. The email address is for the email that the system possibly sends you for various administrative reasons. The review is to prove that you have something to contribute. Because you can read all content on this site without being a member, the only reason to become a member is to contribute. Let's see what you can do.

Your review can be of a book that has already been reviewed or even of a book that isn't yet listed. If you're not a native speaker of English and feel uncomfortable writing in English, write your review in your native language. We'll find someone to read it. If you want to write in English and have us edit it, that's fine too.

For communication with us, please use the email address visible in the graphic to your left.
